Fast and easy to go meal. I ordered the Korean nuggets with rice. The nuggets were good! But the amount of rice was a joke.

Joes vs Dave's - Dave's won for us for chicken but Joes had better Mac and cheese. I wish they had a tender order comparable to Joes. We got the messy sandwich and it was massive! Waffle fries were crispy even after doing a takeout order and eating later on.

I suppose I should have realized, considering there were 11 very pissy, famished male customers in front of me, upon realizing that I also was starving and not in a great mood, that we were actually re-enacting the movie "12 Hangry Men." There haven't been a lot of very good hot chicken places I've tried. It's a nice concept, but as with everything that takes over the scene like wildfire, and erupts like Mount Etna once did on sicily, hot chicken is often imitated, but very seldom actually perfected. You can find some great versions in Nashville, and here and there around the country, but I'd say 95% are hipster, overpriced, not too special. Very much chain food these days. Along those lines, Hangry Joe's is definitely a chain, not too personal, not too much that separates it from the rest, but still worth a try if you are a fan of this type of food. I've definitely had worse (looking at you Dave's), but it didn't make me run back for more, and I thought Crimson Coward was a little better. Give it a try and decide for yourself! And if you want to go here on a date with me, maybe I'll Hang-ry out with you for a bit and get some hot chicken.

Ordered 12 wings & a mega chicken sando for take-out & we were thoroughly impressed! For the wings, we chose spicy smoke BBQ & soy garlic sauces. I'm a huge Korean fried chicken lover so the soy garlic sauce was not the best I've had but still tasty! The kick on the spicy bbq was great & heat was manageable. The wings were meaty & a decent size. The chicken sando was the star. We got it in medium & my god was it spicy. My hubby usually orders his thai food "thai spicy" which is an insane amount of spice so he handles heat well & he even thought it was hot! Despite it being a tad too spicy for me, the flavor was delicious. Chicken was juicy af. Overall, we really enjoyed take-out from here & I'm sure it's even better fresh. We will definitely be back!

It's was okay overall. I had the mild chicken sandwich, fried okra, fries, and their specialty sauce. My recommendation is to eat all items while they're still hot. All of these items turned "meh" after the 30 minute drive home. Efficient online ordering, clean atmosphere, plenty of free parking

We had the tenders and Korean nuggets. They even gave us two free wings to sample. Got the waffle fries too. So everything was delicious but I need to warn you that the spicy level "hot" is no joke, painfully hot. The hangry level requires a waiver, I didn't try that. It was so tasty and delicious but I couldn't finish my chicken because I'm a big baby. The Korean nuggets were amazing. The Hangry Sauce reminded me of Cane Sauce which is great. Staff was super nice. Not much seating but some. Place was clean. I will be going back for the medium chicken.

We've always liked Hangry joes, getting the medium and spicy levels. The hotter levels are definitely spicy but have a very tasty kick. I still prefer medium so I can taste the flavors more instead of just heat. We got tenders with waffle fries, which both were crunchy and well cooked. I liked the dry rub and dipping it into the sauces. They were nice enough to give us extra sauces too. The celery and cucumbers had a good crunch too. I loved the loaded mac & cheese but it was a lot for me. It had chicken, the medium sauce, and jalapenos in it. It's my comfort food and to have the extras on it made it even better. The place is inviting and it's sort of small inside but there are also a few tables outside too. There's plenty of parking in that strip center. Has plenty of natural light. Service was decent except oddly slow when it came to the drinks, but I think they forgot so we ended up requesting them at the counter. I'm glad I got bubble tea (I can't resist) to help with the heat. And yes, I did pick up a sheet to color since I'm a child at heart haha
